Lead Clinician for Police Co-Responder Team / High Point, NC

    The High Point Police Department is currently seeking a LEAD CLINICIAN for a new alternate response team.  The lead clinician MUST be either a licensed clinical social worker or a licensed mental health counselor (similarly licensed may also be considered).  This position will take a leading role in establishing the team to include assisting with policy and procedure, training of staff, establishing partnerships with stakeholders, and overseeing the activities of two crisis counselors.  Prior experience with co-responder teams or other crisis field work is preferred.  Lead Clinician will also serve in an on-call rotation as needed. Hiring range is $67,423.20 - $91,507.52.  Benefits include a take-home vehicle (if living within NC Counties of Guilford, Randolph, Davidson, or Forsyth), 4.5% pay increase over the first year, local government retirement, 401k, health & dental insurance, city health clinic, on-site wellness program (gym, yoga, nutritition assistance), on-call stipend, and degree pay incentive.    Interested applicants should reach out to Recruiting Officer A.J.
