After Trauma: The Follow-Up Process

Thursday, March 19

3PM EST / 2PM CST

Co-Responders are most widely used for behavioral health calls alongside first responders. Johnson County Mental Health Center’s (KS) Co-Responder Program started a trauma follow up program as an additional way to support their police departments and community members following contacts.

Two co-responders with JCMHC will outline their process, including how they identify people in need, resources they’ve utilized and the data they have tracked. They’ll also share success stories and lessons learned, in case you’d like to implement a similar process.
