Step into a role where compassion meets crisis response. The Broomfield Police Department is in search of a licensed clinician to join our team as a Clinical Co-Responder and be there when it matters most. If you’re looking for a role that will allow you to serve your community at its most critical moments, this is it.

The Clinical Co-Responder provides support to law enforcement during behavioral health calls for service and works to assist in de-escalating individuals during a behavioral health crisis. Co-responders divert at-risk community members from the criminal justice system by providing stabilization within the community or through other care options.

    CCOB Mission Statement

Working in partnership with the community, the City and County of Broomfield provides excellent services in an efficient, respectful, and courteous manner to enhance and protect the environment and quality of  Broomfield residents.

    Equity Statement

The City and County of Broomfield is committed to facilitating an equitable community and workplace. Through coordinated strategic efforts and departmental alignment, CCOB advocates for making services accessible to all, especially those that have been historically excluded and under-resourced, including but not limited to Black, Indigenous and Persons of Color, Women, those who are Differently-Abled and members of LGBTQIA+ communities.
